:Chase Manhattan Bank Sucks

Sent a check to pay off an auto loan on 11/26. In spite of approximately 10 phone calls and 1 registered letter, but was not credited until 1/6. Of course, they are trying to charge me a couple of hundred bucks interest for the "late" payment.

They several times promised to call me back; and didn't.

They several times didn't have a record of prior calls and prior promises they made.

Nice people individually, but collectively they couldn't handle running an elevator!
